How to request and use the Holiday Bonus with IO App

All the information on how to request and spend the Holiday Bonus

From July 1st to December 31st 2020, with the IO app, you can request and spend the Holiday Bonus provided by the Relaunch Decree, as a measure to support tourism after the Covid-19 emergency. The Bonus is for households that have an ISEE not exceeding €40.000 and is commensurate with the number of family members. The Bonus is €500 if the household is composed of 3 or more members, €300 for households composed of 2 persons, €150 for households composed of a single individual.

To apply for the Holiday Bonus through the IO app, you must have the SPID digital identity (or the Electronic Identity Card), the ISEE calculation and follow some simple steps:

  1. Access the IO app with SPID or CIE: first of all you need to download the IO app from the stores and access it with your SPID digital identity or, alternatively, with the Electronic Identity Card. After the first registration, you will be able to access it more easily by typing your PIN or by biometric recognition.
  2. Request the Bonus: in the Payments section, you can add a new Bonus/Discount. After having chosen the option "Holiday Bonus" from the available list, just follow the steps to complete the request and activate the Bonus.

To proceed with the request of the Holiday Bonus it is necessary to have carried out the calculation of the ISEE (visit the INPS website for more details on how to get the ISEE).

 

The Bonus attributed to your household will be identified by a unique code, which will also be associated with a QR code (readable directly from the phone screen). In order to take advantage of the Bonus, you only need to communicate this code to the hotel owner together with your tax code at the time of payment at the property.

 

Through the "Share" function on the Bonus summary screen, IO creates a copy of the unique code and the related QR-code that the applicant can forward (as a simple image) to the members of the household who do not have access to the app.
