IO, the new app will allow citizens to manage their relations with the PA through their smartphones, reducing the time of compliance, is ready to welcome all entities that want to make their services available through this digital channel.

In recent months the app has been tested by over a thousand citizens who, participating in the closed-beta phase, have reported several areas of improvement and are now being implemented to disseminate the best version of Io App in iOS and Android format.

The aim is to spread it among users and to ensure that, at that point, the largest number of Italian administrations use it as an additional channel of relationship and service for citizens.

The app, in fact, has been designed to be usable by all types of Public Administration, ensuring a unique process of authentication and integration with the functionality of the application.

PAs who want to use the IO app have four basic guidelines to follow:

1. identify which services can be provided through the IO app and define the preparation of the relevant messages;

2. register at the back office and use the IO app to develop integration;

3. identify a legal representative to manage project membership and ensure privacy and security requirements;

4. define the communication guidelines to be activated towards citizens in order to allow to easily identify and understand the services that the specific entity provides through the application.

This further advance in the design and definition of the IO App represents how the Italian digital transformation and its institutions is focusing on the rationalization of access points, is respecting the mobile first approach and, last but not least, wants to be a tool for simplification and improvement of the Italian citizens quality of life, facilitating access to information and services, relying on full data security and privacy.
