The Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) and ABI Lab - a research and innovation consortium for the banking sector promoted by ABI (Italian Banking Association) - signed an agreement aimed at the digitalisation of the public employee’s salary-backed loan managed by the NoiPA system.

The initiative, made possible by a synergy between either the public and private sectors, uses DLT (Distributed Ledger Technology) blockchain technology with the aim of managing, in a completely digital, secure, and fast way, the entire process of granting a loan and managing deductions for public employees of the NoiPA platform.
