The Public Administration is now fully aware of the importance of security and privacy of citizens with respect to the services provided.

This is the context for the European project PoSeID-on (Protection and control of Secured Information by means of a privacy enhanced Dashboard), coordinated by the MEF and based on blockchain technology, which has created an innovative solution for managing citizens' consent to the use of personal data, in implementation of the principles contained in the new EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

During the speech, the objectives and technologies of the PoSeID-on project will be discussed and the four different use cases representing the practical application of the platform will be illustrated. 

The speech will conclude with a contribution from the European Commission on the prospects of the project. 

The speech is part of the programme of the Financial Administration which, from 21st to 25th June, includes daily appointments within the “Spazio MEF” section, during which projects, actions and innovations will be presented, also dedicated to the interventions of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP).
