On April the 10th 2018, the Sicilian Regional Government has been involved in a web conference with the MEF Information and Innovation Systems Directorate. This appointment followed a first kick-off meeting, held in June 2017, addressing the elements of a possible partnership between the two administrations for the development of the new NoiPA system.

During the event, assisted by the technological tools of the new Directorate’s Experience Center, the DSII presented the main innovative elements of the Program illustrating the most significant results achieved so far. The Directorate continued then showing the range of services under development and the possible paths for joining the new system.

The dialogue between the two administrations proceeded with an in-depth analysis of the current project requirements and, in particular, of the attendance management, legal framework, remuneration, obligations, configurability of the system, roles management and self-service for the employee functions.

The meeting also allowed the beginning a first detailed analysis of some of the elements of common interest to the two Administrations, such as local bargaining, pension management, accounting services, usability and historical depth of the legal data. These issues will be further addressed in the course of the next virtual meetings.

Laying the foundations for this partnership, the Program launches for the first time a concrete collaboration with a “special statute” Region, a fundamental element for the construction of a system capable of effectively responding to the needs of all the public administrations of the country.
