The Municipality of Milan participates in a workshop at the headquarters of MEF Information Systems and Innovation Office

On February 15, 2018 the Municipality of Milan met the MEF Information Systems and Innovation Office, participating in a workshop held at the DSII headquarters of Piazza Dalmazia in Rome. The meeting comes in continuation of the previous one carried out in Lombardy’s Capital city, during which the DSII presented the Program, its general characteristics and illustrated the different joining possibilities to the new NoiPA system.

The day started with an overview of the features defined within the current project requirements, making particular reference to the epics: juridical field, Attendance Management, Remuneration, Obligations, Withholding taxes, System Configurability, Roles Management, Self-Service for the employee, Evaluation , Training, and Competition Procedures.

The meeting then continued with the presentation of the first prototypes of the graphical interfaces produced for the new platform.

Considering the importance given, within the program, to the dialogue with the users and to the approach of continuous feedback collection from the stakeholders, the Municipality of Milan has therefore had the opportunity to actively contribute to the definition of the requirements of the new system. The DSII has indeed collected the needs of the institution in the human resources management field and verified their compliance with the requirements elaborated so far for the system.

The fundamental objective of the meeting was to integrate the requirements formalization phase with these needs, in order to improve the local authorities management in the future system.

Finally, the participants covered in detail the features related to the epics:

· Legal area

- Salary, obligations and withholding taxes

· Evaluation, compulsory and non-compulsory training, competition procedures

The meeting ended with the commitment to carry out further meetings to analyze in detail some technical issues and to continue hence the collaboration between the two administrations.
